You’re eyeing a new condo or loft because you want to live close to shops and restaurants.  Or because you like the new construction.  Or you don’t want the hassle of lawn care and shoveling.  You’re told there’s a homeowner association, rules to follow and dues to pay if you buy.  That’s cool. It’ll be easier.  Whoa, there.
