Carolina Plantations residents are fighting against a parking change that authorizes towing for cars parked along neighborhood streets. The change went into effect several months ago with signs posted at the entrance of the neighborhood. Many homeowners say the change came expectantly and without unfair notice. “That’s the big problem is that when I found out is when my friend’s car got towed from my son’s birthday party and I was not aware of the towing,” says homeowner Amanda Ghee.

At a private homeowner’s association meeting Tuesday night residents came to express their opinions and push for a change.   Read more
