Lakeshore Property Owners Critical of Zoning

Proceeding with a comprehensive overhaul of its lakeshore zoning law, the Ulysses Town Council is facing criticism from a group of Cayuga Lake homeowners requesting town leaders pitch the plan overboard.

Over the past few months, members of the Ulysses Lakeshore Association (ULA) have urged the town council to suspend further zoning talk until at least the summer, when other property owners return lakeside. They reiterated their concerns again at a town council meeting earlier this month.
